I know it has been a while since I have posted a Song of the week, but here it is. I owe the choice for this week to a fantastic website, The Labyrinth of Genre, that allows you to choose any genre you can think of, and it will subdivide it into smaller genres so that you can get the ideal song. This is “For Your Love” by The Yardbirds, a band I consider to be one of the greatest yet underappreciated rock bands of all time. They graduated Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, and Eric Clapton, all of whom went on to possibly become the greatest guitarists of all time. You can read more about The Yardbirds in The British Invasion, Part 4, which will be published later this week.
